Was my question frustrating Joe? I wasn't trying to be sarcastic or anything. I hope I didn't annoy you. Your answer was helpful. The Strong Platter we have is all messed up though and the pin keeps falling out so I have to spin the platter by hand. What I have done to keep the film off the floor is just to go ahead and put it through the bottom return roller and keep tension on it by hand and then thread. It's not the most efficient way to do it, but it works. I'm not fond of these platters though. I much prefer even the Speco platters a hundred fold. Anyway, thanks as always guys. Everytime I log on I learn something. I just have assigned you the letter "H" as your new middle initial for absolutely no reason whatsoever! I thought this mainly because when I was typing it I was aware that if I worded it wrong it would come off as a bit patronizing and haughty. I hate these Strong platters so I whenever I see what people are doing with them to make life easier, I ask exactly what they mean. LOL.  |  IP: Logged
