It's very unusual to see a quality installation such as seen here. Several years ago there was "talk" of doing something like that here. However, that's all it was...talk! Seems a curious squirrel found the transformer on the electric pole out front tasty. It knocked out 1-2 phases of the three phase electricity. Damndest thing I ever saw. Not the squirrel, the power. Some of the projectors had sound but no xenon bulb, some had light but no sound and others had light but no motor or failsafes.....you get the picture. I ran to all ten projectors as fast as possible to shut them down, but had burned film frames on several of the prints and others that stretched due to pulling of the film. Spent the next hour splicing and rethreading for the 9 o'clock shows. Manager had to give out a ton of passes. Interesting evening. What if that happened to your interlock?
