Solid-state or mechanical? Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 11-24-2008 01:36 PM                     For Component Engineering units, most are switched via AC...it is just too easy to wire the IEC cord to the motor circuit. For SOME 40-series CE units, we use the provided terminals on the supply to switch the LED as it has a "soft-start" circuit. For Kinoton, we use the internally provided terminals for turning the LEDs on/off.
