The Kapolei 16 is not in Aiea but on West Oahu in Kapolei. The Koolau 10 is not in Honolulu but on the Windward side on east Oahu in Kaneohe. I used to frequent the Kapolei Theatres a lot when I used to visit my mother at her nursing home in that town almost every day. It was installed, but they only get 1.4 footlamberts onscreen so they are not using it. They need to get a better lamphouse. An SLC-30 will be installed as soon as one is available. All of the other Cinema Latino theaters have T3D up and running, wherever they may be (not in CO). BTW, what's the amount of anamorphic desqueeze, and how do they deal with flat vs. scope? I assume it's just one lens, right? They can do scope and flat and no anamorphic squeeze is involved... it's all spherical. Thats all I can say about it here! Mark  |  IP: Logged Mark J. That question was asked at the demo, and the answer was "No." You obviously have only one print, and they seem to be aware that it'll take two lenses to service some theatres, though I assume they don't expect many of those. If you were really bent on cheating the system, I suppose you could set up one changeover screen, then put in platters when they weren't looking, and take the lens to another screen and interlock your one print.
