In earlier days, there were also TransLux theatres at Madison at 60th (at least through 1955) 340 East 72nd St. (at least through 1955) 52nd & Lex (at least through 1965) 85th & Madison (at least through 1975) but I don't remember any of them. This info comes from Variety.
