Well exposed Super-16mm productions hold up very well on HD television. Grain is usually not an issue unless the film is underexposed, or a very high speed (500EI or 800EI) stock is used. Dozens of feature films have been shot using Super-16 (e.g., "Leaving Las Vegas", "Monsoon Wedding"), and quite a few television series were shot on 16mm (e.g., "Dawsons Creek", "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman").------------------
