I've had them honor an InfoT on a DP100 as recently as last year! It was LONG out of warranty. The check magnet will allow one to verify and correct the issue in a couple minutes per lamp house. Our Barco supplier told me that there's no harm in removing the SPG cover, so you might just as well do it on all the B projectors that still have it. Obviously not since the Info-T says to remove it.
