So a few cool things [Cool] can be confirmed about the new IMAX laser:

1.43 aspect ratio
12 channel sound
different costs for the projector based on screen size
projector is custom built for the screen size installation
Meteron AMC, Lincoln Square, Smithsonian all for 2015
TCL Chinese Theatre will open around April with laser.

the time frame of the renovation of the Smithsonian IMAX screens has changed yet again - still 2015 (at least for the Udvar Hazy and Natural History Museum) but the downtown Mall Air & Space will be the last conversion and more than likely be the beginning of next year (at the earliest - got to have that 'Star Wars Episode 7' in native 15/70 [Wink] [thumbsup]

Natural History's renovation has been postponed til the Fall of this year.
