I've been mid-run for many years. Terms used to be straight %, usually 35-45%. But in the last couple years that has been changing. There is almost always a $250 minimum at least. And % are going up, with some 50% or more the first week.
I had a major film I played last year that was 50% for the whole run, even at 8 weeks off break.

So if this theater is low grossing, his actual % cost could be pretty high if the minimum is coming into play.
