Either browser can be sized as you see fit.
The viewable area in Safari is a bit larger. The toolbar area is a bit smaller and more manageable than Firefox. I also like the brushed metal look.

Yo can also just click on the book in the corner of Safari to get to your bookmarks. Both Safari and FireFox are pretty even on bookmark management.

Firefox is a great browser, though. I just dig using the Apple software!

You must have a special copy, because on mine Safari's toolbar is noticably bigger than Firefox's.

No special copy. Running 1.2.3.

The thing is smaller than the top of my finger. Maybe it's just the color that makes it seem a little smaller.

Maybe it's just a preference setting.

Firefox is a pretty new web browser, so there's only a few "themes" available to dress up its appearance. But if you like brushed metal looks or other UI appearances, just give it time. Somebody will code one.

Found the preference to make the tollbar slimmer like that.

I'm gonna give Firefox a week now, and see how it feels then.
