I go into FHF and read the nonsense there. Once I am done I click on the "Film-Tech Forums" logo that I spent many minutes creating in the upper left corner of the screen to return to the forum index. Now it doesn't show any of the other forums as having unread topics. I immediately saw the log in notice and logged in. When I did the new post indications disappeared. Joe, this forum has been modified with "smarter" cookies than how it came stock from the manufacturer. So long as you use your back button all should work fine. When you are finished reading, click the forums logo. EDIT - Ok, now I know why you complained. Once you make a post having to go back kinda sucks. Daryl already improved the cookie situation 100 times over. Maybe he can fix that glitch somehow. You have to register but it's quick & anonymous (of course I registered with a trash email account). When you're registered, and create a new thread or a reply, there is a spell-checker option. Looks like you would copy your text into the spell-checker, run the check, then copy the corrected text back into your post. A little clumsy but it works.
