At first I thought this was a theatre associated with that nasty megaplex chain around here, guess not! Look closely at the 2k reel on that Westar projector. Besides driving on the wrong side, do they also thread backward??? For those interested in single screen presentation, the Revox tape machines are full track stereo run @ 15ips. We made our own house overture, recording a mix taken from the Cinema 100 CD album, which was the first 11 seconds of “Casablanca” mixed into the last 56 seconds of “Spellbound”. A pulse on the tape activates the Cinemation unit to start the projector for the Adverts & Trailers. After the sales interval, it is the same procedure to start the Feature, with the music being taken from the film CD if available or recorded from the end cast list soundtrack, to make up an opening overture timed to the end of the mute censor certificate or any silent trade marks.  |  IP: Logged Brad Miller Administrator Posts: 17775 From: Plano, TX (36.2 miles NW of Rockwall) Registered: May 99 posted 01-18-2003 12:36 PM                     Calm down Thomas. It's just a typo. You will notice now that we are more than 14 days into this, each day has 3 levels of new additions. The top link is for members with pictures and 50+ posts, the next level is members with 50+ posts (pic not required) and the third level is general public. The coding is right, just occasionally not the description. Now do I need to tighten those straps on your jacket? From the manual, it appears to be a tone generator of some type. Up the road a cinema had Xenon lamps, 6000 ft spools using Bauer projectors. I was was in awe of it. I want a BAUER manual uploaded now JOE! Hmm can you sent me the button cluster. I'm still working with them to this day, and I need the GREEN button that turns the projector on. Bill.  |  IP: Logged
