More than anyone can possibly care about it here. >>> Phil  |  IP: Logged Carl Martin Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1424 From: Oakland, CA, USA Registered: Feb 2002 posted 10-26-2003 04:46 AM                        i hate hate hate daylight "saving" time. i keep my watch on standard time all year round and just do the math, as a little personal protest. tonight i watched it change to 1:00 and smirked to myself. the government should not be micromanaging our schedules. yeah, i think people get up too late and stay up too late, but legislating time anomalies is an underhanded way of dealing with it. on page 3 of phil's link i found the following: quote: Daylight Saving Time also saves a small amount of energy in the morning when we rise. I just dont see the point, if we didnt set our clocks back then it would still get dark around 7:30. It just happened. Guy rattled the doorknob and then rang the doorbell. "Do you still have a 10:50 AM Winged Migration?" he asked. "Yes and it starts in an hour and 10 minutes." What? Don't tell anyone. I think other than the metropolitan areas of Chicago and maybe some down south. I always have troubles explaining to people that we don't change time zones either as most people say we do.
