Worst ways: Like others have already said here, burning, drowning, sufficating, or being slowly crushed, maimed, or mangled to death, like the students of Tiananmen Square 15 years ago.
Best way: A slightly different take on dying in your sleep--
When I die, I'd like to go quietly in my sleep Like my grandfather Not screaming Like his passengers.
