What would be the best and the worst possible method to die, do you think?
I haven't tried any of them yet, so I can't really comment. [Smile]

Best way to die: Quickly and Quietly

Worst: Dropping a Xenon in some isolated closet in the projection room with no one else around. The flying glass hits an artery and you bleed to death on your way downstairs with only two things on your mind. The song "It's a Small World Afterall" and "Damn it, I knew I should have put in a booth phone!"

Well...it could happen... [Roll Eyes] [Big Grin]

Well, I suppose "Death by Unga-Bunga"...if anyone remembers the ole joke, might be enjoyable for some, and sheer torture for others! [Big Grin] [Wink] [Confused] [Roll Eyes] [puke] [uhoh] [sex]

Best: I've just made the last changeover, the final reel's running perfectly (it's a brand-new print of the first movie I remember seeing, 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA), I douse the next-to-last arc on the Peerless, sit down ... and they find me when the tail leader for the last reel hits the screen leaving blank whiteness, the curtains fail to close and the house lights fail to go up.

Worst: I'm stuck in a screening of THE PREACHER'S WIFE and my spouse is so entranced by the moronic crap on the screen that she fails to notice me gasping my last breaths begging for medical attention.

Leo's post about suicide by jumping in front of a train reminds me of the opening scene of the 2001 Japanese film Suicide Club (Jisatsu Circle). From Midnight Eye's review:
quote:
[...] watching Suicide Club is a special experience indeed. What to think of an opening sequence in which 54 uniformed schoolgirls commit simultaneous suicide by jumping hand-in-hand in front of a rush hour train at Shinjuku station, covering shocked commuters in geysers of blood that washes in red rivers over the concrete platform? Welcome to tonight's main attraction, don't bother buying popcorn.
"Jumpers" are fairly common in Japan, enough so that some railroad companies in the Tokyo area now charge the deceased's family for the clean up and down time. I have this film on R3 DVD. The rest of the movie is indeed forgettable, but oh those first five minutes. I've used it as a video test just to see the reactions it gets. [Big Grin]

Best: Heart attack during sexual intercourse.

Worst: Anything involving the mutilation of my genital region. Leave it alone.

I guess that would make falling dick first into a newspaper printing press a real nightmare.

worst:
any death that i dont see coming (yes i know i'm weird that i want to 'look' death in the eye, but hey...beats randomly showing up at the pearly gates and saying 'shit, what the fuck is this'.

best:
grease up a frisbee, then fold it in half, then again, then shove into mouth. Then let go and let it expand in your mouth. Or be killed by a ninja\priate\black night

Today, for the first time in my life, I saw, in person, a real fire in a house (flames bursting out all the windows, no chance of saving the house).

I don't know if anyone was trapped inside, but I think being stuck in there would have to be one of the worst ways to go.

Best way to go: die while in a coma so you don't know what's going on.

Buy your own casket (I'll sell you one...wholesale); place it in your garage, and wait for the BIG day. It'll come sooner or later!
