Then you moved up here why?
I didn't move up anywhere. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. And that statement would hold true whether I lived in Minneapolis or Guam (Guam being a substitute for any other area of residence.). [Smile]

Too lazy to type the extra two letters to spell "I see" Josh? No wonder your generation is nothing but a bunch of young whippersnappers who will ruin the world!

It's a lot of work though, Joe, to type out all four letters instead of two. This way, as Homer showed us when he became obese and worked at home, he is doubling his productivity. Plus you still have to think of what to reply with, move your mouse all the way over to "Post Reply", click the left button, type, move all the way down to "Add Reply" and click the left button AGAIN! That's a lot to ask for from us lazy folk of this generation.

In fact, I recommend that we all just use the first letter of each word when posting. Here's what my post would look like:

I a l o w t, J, t t o a f l i o t. T w, a H s u w h b o a w a h, h i d h p. P y s h t t o w t r w, m y m a t w o t "P R", c t l b, t, m a t w d t "A R" a c t l b A! T a l t a f f u l f o t g.

See? Isn't that much easier and much more clear? It also takes up less space, so we have less to read. Now our laziness can be fully utilized and we won't have to waste time typing complete words ever again!
Cheers! [beer]

I always wanted to be a moderator, but I was always too humble to ask, and too cute to be bogged down with responsibility. Besides, I would be more power hungry than Joe, and I would be more pissy.

I give one vote for Mark G., One for myself, another one for myself, two more for Mark, then three for me, negative seven for Joe, and four more for me.

Ciao

No, Steve, we do not.
Unfortunately, Nate has banned all things "fun" and "cool" and "convenient". [thumbsdown]

It with the deepest regret that I must announce my decision to withdraw my original bid to be your next FT Mod. When facing these difficult times I must put my full support behind Ryan Luby. He is a man of great decency and upholds the moral character I believe is necessary to be a successful leader and moderator of these forums. Mr. Luby is a believer in “violence, exclusion, and degradation” (All traits necessary to fill Joe’s role.)

I urge all of you, who care about FT and want to continue to see it prosper, send an email to Joe Redifer to voice your support of Ryan Luby replacing Joe as the next sarcastic asshole mod.

I thank all of you who supported my brief run to be your ‘People’z Mod’ and ask that support Mr. Luby the same way you supported me.

Damnit Nate, I was just about to add you!

Oh well your reasoning is truly sound. What better idea than to have everyone send an email to the Mod who will be booted to make room for the new Mod. Even more ridiculous is that a Mod has no authority to make another member a Mod.

You've been smoking some of that I-30 stuff, haven't you Nate? [Wink]
