How’d you know Brad?

The pictures of me smoking were just about to be released so I had to back out. I didn’t want embarrass the FT community with this scandal.

I swear that I only tried it once. It was the 90’s and a time of experimentation. I can only hope people can grow to forgive with time.

Forgiving is for the weak of heart, you yellow-bellied pansy.
Thanks for your words of support, though. [thumbsup]

Unfortunately, I am stepping down in my bid for moderating ruler and am nominating someone else to fill my shoes.

This man is more than just a "friend" to me..he's more of a role-model supreme. Think of Gandhi plus Martin Luther King Jr. plus Liono from Thundercats and you will have something close to what I'm talking about.

I pledge my support for none other than:

RICHARD GRECO!!!
(that last part should be heard in a loud, booming, echoing voice)

North American Man Boy Love Association
Pedophiles who try to justify their sick actions.

How do I know this? A particularily crule practical joke in the mid-late 90's was to sign someone up for the NAMBLA newsletter via their website. I know of at least one high school principal who had to quit his job because a NAMBLA newsletter started showing up in his name at the school.

there's definitely a stigma associated with that organization, but really, what's so bad about it? from their website (see paul's link above):

quote:
NAMBLA's goal is to end the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships by:

# building understanding and support for such relationships;
# educating the general public on the benevolent nature of man/boy love;
# cooperating with lesbian, gay, feminist, and other liberation movements;
# supporting the liberation of persons of all ages from sexual prejudice and oppression.

...

We condemn sexual abuse and all forms of coercion.

it seems pretty benign to me. is it the case that in fact a lot of their membership engages in coercive sex (rape) in spite of the tenets of the organization? i can think of other organizations where that happens....

It's kind of funny how everyone teases Richard Greco for liking young girls, but liking young boys by other forum members is A-OK. What the hell?

The 'stigma' against them may stem from a certain level of homophobia (though pedophilia and homosexuality are NOT linked as far as I know). It may also stem from the belief-correct in my opinion-that there is no such thing as 'consentual' sex between an adult and a child. This may (may) be disputed for 'children' who have nearly fully matured sexually but I can see no grounds for dispute when one is talking about pre-pubescent youths-boys or girls.
