But I get called Jepan because people think its so cool to combined peoples names like JLo or Bennifer. I really like how my friend calls me Jenny though . Back to the last name thing. When my dad came to the US he took after his father's first name and placed it as his last name. I have no idea why. I guess my dad didn't like the last name he already had. Or maybe he didn't have a last name at all. I'm too lazy to call him up and ask him a question about his last name.  |  IP: Logged Stephanie M. Since then, I've discoverd the word Brosche, or derivitives of, mean brooch. Apparently one of my ancestors was a jewlerly maker. If you google Brosche, you just get page after page of German Jewlerly dealers.
