Alright. Japanese fighting with fluorescent lamps.

Let's have some clarification though. What kind of lamps are they using? Some standard sort of thing you put over the kitchen sink, or might they be wielding a F72T12D/HO lamp? Or perhaps a cool white? Hey, it's gotta be high output lamps otherwise you might as well wear a dress!
