Joe, you obviously don't have kids.
I know, and I am so proud! [Smile]

I like to spit in the face of political correctness sometimes. But I highly doubt any of you would have actually killed the individual.

I don't know if I would have "killed" the guy but you can certainly bet that his ass would be hanging between his shoulder blades if he did that to anybody in my family!

Interesting page on film projectors...

Too bad the web developer didn't know that thumbnail picts are sometimes hard to see, but still interesting.

Mad Max screening and Q+A with original cast members.

If you're coming, let me know and I'll save you a seat. This will be there too... [thumbsup]

John.

Nothing, but nothing beats that film on a 100' drive in screen!

And shot in real, fair dinkum anamorphic 35mm goodness, too!

Wish I could make that event, it sounds fantastic, but the ute's carked it so I can't make it down. Let us know how it goes. [thumbsup] [beer]

Will do.

Ran the print through this morning. Sounds pretty decent in 5.1. A nice change from pink and mono.

I recognize none of those people. Granted, it's been like 50 years since I saw the original Mad Max. The only thing I recall from that movie was that Mel Gibson's dialog was completely unintelligible. I don't recall the yellow/blue striped car, either. Send me an illegal bootleg so I can watch it again.
