Darryl, yes! Heh-heh, but I'm sure Raymond would be more than happy to keep everyone entertained for a few days.
For those who don't know, I installed the equipment at the Kentucky Theatre and designed the booth for the new construction -- which used to be the old Downtown Cinema balcony. It's booth done right (although, the architect screwed me at the last minute and the screen ended up being a postage stamp). In the new booth, conduits are embedded in the floor, including the Dolby Digital cable; so there's just a projector sitting there in the middle of the floor, with nothing connected to it... which used to be common practice in booth design, but is rarely done today.
I also spec'd. screening room-style double-paned optical glass portholes (with each pane at specific angles), just big enough for the image to pass through. quote: Phil Hill Why don't you suggest a location more physically central to all the USA members?
