Like some others here, rinse brush before applying the dentifrice, then wet brush and dentifrice together prior to brushing teeth. Been doing it that way since small kid time. Don't know why. Fecal coliform and all sorts of other bacteria (including strep and staff) can collect on a toothbrush. But if it's more fun for someone to risk brushing their teeth with small amounts of poo and flesh eating bacteria have a great time gambling! A wet toothbrush also seems to feel a bit more pleasant on the gumline than a dry brush. The same goes for any toothbrush with less than 3 months of use on it. Soap? With bar soap, wet hands first, apply soap, lather, rinse, repeat if necessary, then explode the bombs you made as a by-product of the soap making process. Bar soap on dry hands? How would it lather? With the liquid soap, either way works, so its up to everyone to make their own choice. I wet my hands with distilled water first, then apply exactly 0.7 ounces of hospital-grade germicidal cleanser, scrub vigorously for one minute, rinse and then dry with a hot-air dryer (never know what's on those towels). First off you can't see where the break is in the roll when it sticks, which forces the user to fumble with the roll, spinning it around until the end breaks free. Also it is putting the toilet paper up against the wall where everyone's hands are touching (fumbling around for the end of the roll). And yes, those are the same hands that others have been wiping their ass with before washing them. What's extra aggravating are the public restrooms where for some reason the installers felt the need to mount the toilet paper dispenser one foot off of the ground. I also think the ONLY way for the TP roll to be mounted is the "over" way for easy and clean access. In my younger days before I realized I was a "top", I prefered the "under" roll. I agree, OVER. But I've found that the fumbling issue, or easy access, is just personal preference, as it's not hard to adapt to an under-roll. It's all in what you expect to find when you habitually go to spin. My under-rolling friends aren't swayed by this argument. That said, the reason I give for why TP is is designed to go OVER is simple. The flowers, or whatever-the-heck design yours may come with (if it has any), are UPSIDE DOWN if you put the roll backwards. Ta da! I wet my hands and toothbrush like crazy in a washing/brushing situation: before, after, during, physically, emotionally, metaphysically.  |  IP: Logged
