I think he was referring to the fact that it is actually spelled Masturbate.

Maybe the picture is from the UK.

Alot of words are mis-spelled in the UK.

The Annual Cicada has a one to three year life cycle versus the 13 or 17 year life cycle of the Periodic Cicada. There are no known broods of Periodic Cicadas in this part of Pennsylvania but this year seems to be a big year for the "Dog Day Cicada".

I caught this specimen mid-molt just today, in my back yard.
