(I'm hoping to live 1/2 of that!) Anyway, he was best known for the tune "Yakety Sax" which was the theme for "The Benny Hill Show". Vanishing Point  |  IP: Logged Monte L Fullmer Film God Posts: 8367 From: Nampa, Idaho, USA Registered: Nov 2004 posted 07-12-2007 06:32 PM                     Oh yes, "Vanishing Point" and "Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry" - two great Drive-in fliks and I ran each of those two a few times on drive in screens and 2nd run "mom and pop" flop houses. One couldn't help but see "DM&CL" almost a carbon copy of "VP" but that latter one couldn't pull off the original magic as "VP" did on it's inital release. One thing that always struck me funny was, at the end of the the "VP" movie when the police set up that roadblock to stop that Challenger with those two big CAT's where after the car went head on into those CATS, and the rear end swung upwards, the tail end of the car is a Camaro, not a Challenger. If I remember right, for the "PG" version of that double release that FOX did (to get "VP" down to a "PG" from it's original "R"), was to take out the "girl on the HONDA motorcycle" scene all together.  |  IP: Logged John Wilson Film God Posts: 5438 From: Sydney, Australia.
