Phil Hill = Great comeback [Roll Eyes]

It must have taken you hours to think that one up.

That must mean your right & I'm wrong

I will have to go back to my world of 35mm that you can see the hole picture & not just the bits that are flying out of the screen at you.

Woe is me I don't think I can take it any more. [Frown]

Can you see the sarcasm yet

Ah, shit... you've gotta watch all parts, not just part 4 for the full effect of the overall quality of this place. Yes, some of it is boring as hell. What a great theater!

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4 (the one Darryl linked to)

Part 5 - Threading!!

Oh man, I love how he can't tell if he put the ad on backwards or not.

Moron??? Can't you come up with a better word than that? You're being too nice. I wonder which UA this is. That guy CLEARLY belongs in the "you suck" thread.

I just looooooooooove how at the end of part 2/beginning of part 3 half of the film is getting scratched on the edge of the platter deck as it is being loaded up because the projectionist is a fucking idiot. Then he tries to make up for it by "painting" the casing of the projector, as if he cares. Geez guy, paintbrushes offer no useful purpose in a booth. I wish I knew who came up with that retarded idea so I could slap them.

Part 4...what a mess. That reel change is going to look awful.

Part 5...somebody call hazmat on those disease infected suction cups!

I expected him to dump the leader onto the floor at some point, so no surprise there. Having his hand on the framing knob knowing that he would fuck up the threading was a nice touch.

Shit! There's a camera and I'm wearing a tie! I'll wait till he's up the other end and take it off so I look more cool while I continue to fuck everything up in this booth.

Every part of those UA videos has cringeworthy material. How filthy was the booth floor? How much crap is on the port glasses? How many times can he put the film on the floor? I knew he was going to thread up out of frame but he really hit paydirt when he opended up BANG! TWO holes out! Does he get bonus points for that?

I was certain when he had the twist in the print going to the platter he'd break the splice to fix it. Oh, and don't forget the great platter covers sitting in the filth on the floor. They would most likely lose any dirt they picked up from the floor on the way to covering the print, right? [Roll Eyes]

And how many non-essential people can you have in the booth at one time? Luckily no-one stuck their fingers where they shouldn't and injured themselves. I'd have loved to see the insurance try and cover that!

Man, you really suck. [fu]
