I'd probably quit on the spot as my corner-pressin' skills would never be able to stand up to M.C. McGrillz there.

One thing's likely: Tom Cruise is happy everyone can now fixate on a different Hollywood star meltdown instead of his antics on the Today Show or Oprah's couch.

This is pretty bad publicity for Christian Bale. A-list actors or movie stars always must realize it is a very tricky balance to stay perched at the top. A recording like this by itself wouldn't be enough to wreck an actor's movie career. However, if such pissy on set behavior is common for a given actor it will eventually take its toll.

I don't think this matches Tom Cruise's couch jumping insanity. Nowhere close, actually. Yes, Bale went way overboard, but he definitely had reason to be upset.

Quite a setup there. Peerless lamphouses with E7's sitting on SH1000's and Simplex mag penthouses..

The house originally belonged to Cecil B. deMille, which makes me think that HE was the one who had the booth installed. Jerry Lewis could have had that put in, or updated to Cinemascope/4 channel mag.
I wonder if that house still exists. Knowing how past Hollywood homes have been demolished over the years, I kinda doubt it...

Nope, it was demolished in the mid 1980's. I was working for Universal Projector back then, we cleaned out the booth (Equipment was as Monte mentioned, but I think the Peerless were either gone or had been converted to xenon...)

I did find a great souveneer though...Jerry Louis' Academy card from 1957.. [Smile]

Looks like a Super Simplex to me. E7's didn't have a rectangular glass window in the door.
