(So, if your mother would have died when you were 5 months old, you would have been a better human being than you are? Obviously something is wrong with you and your upbringing if you talk that way about a person and their young child who will now grow up without a mother. Anna was not talented as an actress, singer, or really anything that I can think of...but to take motherhood away from her after she dies is just wrong. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, now crawl back under the rock from which you came you piece of )
Hahahaha. It always interests me greatly when I hear someone defending some "controversial" thing that has been condemned, by the opinion, of another. Makes me wonder what skeletons they have in their closet...not that I really give a damn. And my mother never acted the way that woman did. She worked hard to make money and taught me the value of hard work, honesty and kindness. She did not make fame or fortune giving some senile, 90 year old man a BJ now and then just so she could take him and his family for all he was worth. Actually, when she first had the baby girl and no one had any idea she would die, I could not make up my mind which idea frightened me more...Anna Nicole Smith rasing children or Michael Jackson raising children.(and please, no one start a Michael Jackson debate...that is not my intention). I guess you should actually be happy, Frank; Anna Nicole is now at The Pearly Gates with her true, 90 year old love. Cause there is no money in Heaven and we all know she was with him for love, not money...ha.
I guess I could make a point of what a classy and mature person you are by mentioning both the remark you made about me and how you cannot handle another person's opinion but why waste my energy...your post speaks for its self VERY well.

My Dad died when I was 17. He was a severe alcoholic. He treated us pretty shabbily. I won't belabor the details.
Several months after the funeral I had a chance to talk to the doctor who signed my father's death certificate. (This was back in the day when there was still such a thing as a "Family Doctor". ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) )
We talked about my father's death and the last thing he said was, "You're better off this way."
Well, I stormed out of the office, muttering and cussing to myself the whole way. I had a half a mind to slug the bastard, right then and there!
It wasn't until about 10 years later that I realized just how RIGHT that doctor was!
There are times when I think how much better off I would be if he only died 10 years earlier... or, better yet, if he hadn't been an alcoholic at all.
Even though Tony said it in a "less than tactful" way, I believe his main message has a lot of truth in it. Anna Nicole Smith HAS done a lot of things to hurt her children in a very long lasting way. If she couldn't (or wouldn't) clean up her act for the sake of her children, maybe it IS better that she isn't around them at all.
They are hard words to hear but, maybe the kids ARE better off this way.

Actually, I kind of get the opposite sort of vibe.
When I hear someone get up on a soap box talk in a very judgmental way about someone they never personally met, I wonder what skeletons they have in their own closet.
I get the biggest laughs when some "televangelist" gets found out for doing all sorts of naughty things. It's especially funny when that person was campaigning from the pulpit against those same naughty things. It's that old "guilty dog barks the loudest" thing.
Who in this forum (or anywhere) leads an absolutely sin free life? People are better off concerning themselves about how decent a person they are and areas where they need to improve rather than wasting their time pointing a finger of judgment at someone else. Our society loves getting off on the American-style sport-porn of being judgmental against other people. It's an ignorant weakness similar to bigotry. We're all prone to it. And it's just plain tacky, unflattering, bad manners on a basic level.
From a practical point of view, what's the point in pissing all over her grave now that Anna-Nicole is dead? It's not like she's going to hear any of it. It's not like she's going to be able to change for the better over it. She's dead. Might as well yell flaming attacks a brick wall.
Anna Nicole Smith was no saint. I don't think she was a good mother or even a good person. My guess is she was a dim-witted person who had no real friends or no real support system. She was surrounded by parasites. I think the same is true of Michael Jackson. Again, insulated and cut off from the world by a bunch of parasites. That weird and sad situation is part of what gets the general public fascinated by such famous celebrity train wrecks.
The latest news seems to suggest there were no obvious signs of drug overdose, despite the cornucopia of prescription drugs found in the room. Witnesses say she had a high fever, possibly from the flu. With her son's death still a recent thing and all the ongoing legal battles happening, severe depression had to be a factor as well. Good luck surviving that if you have no real friends and no real emotional support that comes from friends.
