However there is a noteworthy characteristic of the RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK hat which separates it from the other three. What is it? P.S. In other words, instead of the symmetrical center of the undented hat lining up with the center of Indy's head, it's actually twisted about 1/8th inch to his right. The dent then goes down the "new" center of the hat. This gives the hat an unbalanced look, with the brim dropping down lower in front of the right eye, and curling up higher behind the left ear. It's the type of thing I never noticed until it was pointed out to me, but once you know what to look for, it's really obvious. And way cooler than the symmetrical hats of the other three movies. I just remember a lot of hype from those days about Red Dawn being the first PG-13 film. I know for sure it was the first film WE played with that rating. I looked at the background info on www.filmratings.org (the CARA site) -- it only says that PG-13 was instituted on July 1, 1984.
