The following pictures are graphic and are intended for a mature audience, viewer discretion is advised. So anyways, anyone thinking of doing this on their own... it's definitely a pain in the butt. if you reassemble it correctly, it's almost impossible to bugger up the shutter timing. The only thing you can really bugger up is the upper and lower feed sprocket positions... the bottom feed sprocket being more delicate as you have very little play either way to stop the film from hitting something. I had to tweak mine a little, but I accomplished this by loading some film in (preferably some you don't care about or just scrap stuff), and seeing how your movement looks. Upper and lower sprockets have two set screws you can back off on the internal side to fine tune them. I'm certain that the film is running smoother than before I took it apart. new worm gear is sexy too. ten times quieter. It appears to be wired to run on 208V if that makes a difference. I believe they have a majority of the parts. I communicated with a fellow named John who was most helpful and gave me advice on the maintenance. KMR Electronics I did find the shuttle assembly annoying when I had to pull it to replace the worm gear. Also, since I can't find any wire schematics... It has a motor on the top reel arm for rewinding, I have no clue how to wire it back in, would the world be a better place if I took an upper reel arm from a 35mm projector that uses spring tension and modded it on?  |  IP: Logged Steve Guttag We forgot the crackers Gromit!!! I'm stuck on what to put in it for oil. It uses an oil pump to more or less soak everything, but the catch is that the upper feed sprocket is attached to a belt, which will also be drenched in oil.
