After 24 years of driving Ford Rangers, I upgraded to an F-150. I liked the Rangers because of the size, but now that I'm married I find that we like to go places with other people, and our other car (Ford Escape) is too small to haul anybody in comfortably, so the pickup is basically a family car combined with a hauler for me. It's got about every gadget known to mankind on it which is cool - the Rangers were pretty bare-bones. '2010 BMW 530xd (Station W.) '2010 BMW 530d GT '2010 VW Sharan 2.0 TDI (7 Seats) ... and the current one: '2012 BMW 530d (Station W.) ... The Acura is definitely not me nor something I would think of buying, but it was free. The Grand Prix has 285,000 miles. Haha  |  IP: Logged Rick Raskin Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1100 From: Manassas Virginia Registered: Jan 2003 posted 10-20-2016 03:20 PM                     Still driving my 1996 Jeep Cherokee and 2010 Toyota Camry.  |  IP: Logged Sean McKinnon Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1712 From: Peabody Massachusetts Registered: Sep 2000 posted 10-23-2016 03:29 PM                        Not sure if or how long ago I updated this but as of now I am driving my 1999 35th Anniversary Edition 4.6 Litre Mustang GT 5 Speed with a modified intake, exhaust, suspension (lowered 2.5" with 18" wheels), short throw shifter, Audio system with Kenwood head unit and Amp, JVC Speakers, and a Bazooka (hey, it was free I just had to build my own wiring harness) Tube type sub all run through a very large (forget the actual microfarad spec) capacitor (no dimming head lights here). And... A stock completely unmodified 2002 Ford Crown Victoria LX. Interesting thing is both the 4.6 Mustangs, Crown Vic's, and Mercury Maurauders, and Grand Marquis all use the same engine just with different tuning, intakes, and shift points (on the automatics). I once acquired a black P71 (Crown Vic Police Interceptor) with a blown engine which I wanted to build into a mock Maurauder by adding an after market exhaust and a manual 5 speed tranny from a Mustang but I never got to it and ended up just junking it $400 down the drain. Bought this back in November of 2014. At the time we bought it, it hadn't run since 1995. Parts of it came home in the bed of my truck, the rest came home on a trailer behind my truck. Took us until October of 2015 to get it to run. Rebuilt or replaced pretty much everything. It's an original August of 1981 build.  |  IP: Logged
