Paul Linfesty Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1383 From: Bakersfield, CA, USA Registered: Nov 1999 posted 12-29-2003 12:16 PM                     The U.S. and Canada ran EARTHQUAKE in 35mm only (magoptic with the optic track carrying the trigger tones) and optic with combined trigger tones and mono soundtrack. 70mm prints were shown throughout the rest of the world, though, with Universal supplying a 35mm full-coat 6-track mix with a 35mm IN (or IP) for countries who were planning to release in 70mm. I read this in American Cinematographer back on the film's original release.
