Author Topic: Paramount kills off 35mm in the US Leo Enticknap Film God Posts: 7474 From: Loma Linda, CA Registered: Jul 2000 posted 08-26-2015 12:11 PM                        The most recently made 35mm prints I've seen are of Interstellar and Inherent Vice (we've shown Interstellar in both 35mm 'scope and 5/70). They looked really nice, even though they were on 2383, not 2393 - Interstellar was a lot sharper and less grainy than you'd expect a typical 'scope mass-production print from the '00s to be. IV was a festival answer print, so it's not necessarily a reliable indicator of what the remaining multiplex prints will be like, because it almost certainly received a lot of TLC from FotoKem's finest.  |  IP: Logged Scott Norwood Film God Posts: 8146 From: Boston, MA.
