In Sacramento we have a CA (Class A low power, which is higher than regular low power) station on channel 8- they show a variety of international stuff along with regular infomercials overnight. They have some stuff that would be good to watch but they don't have a stereo signal. Ironically they don't have a digital signal but a lot of their stuff looks like it's run off some sort of digital system- there's a lot of compression artifacts on some shows. We have another CA on channel 23, which is owned by the Univision Spanish network but has been showing the Home Shopping Network for the past few years. Signal on that is good but it's also not in stereo- the shopping network has some analog noise from the satellite feed too. When it went on the air it was Telefutura (which usually has familiar English movies dubbed in Spanish, with an annoying triangle bug in the corner- I liked to play "guess the movie" when flipping by it) but they moved that to another station in in the area and put HSN on channel 23. Late Saturday nights they run the local news in Spanish from channel 19 (probably some FCC requirement), and the contrast levels are always whacked out. Often they keep information on the screen so when tuning in you get the wrong channel number, date and time!

There's a few more LP UHF stations that don't come in so good, they're all Spanish or religious. It'd be nice if someone put a pirate TV station on the air. I don't miss the regular stations one bit!
