I did that with Aliens, Bobby.... waited until they dropped to $10 each at Best Buy and bought only the first two.
I did that with my laserdiscs. Waited till there were a $1 each and then I bought them.

That's funny: I got the Star Wars THX "faces" LaserDiscs when I joined the Columbia House LaserDisc Club for a $1 a pop. Talk about a discount!

I got the original laserdisks for $1 each from Columbia house. At the time they listed for $60 each. It was quite the deal - and I still have them.

Yep, mine too were listed at $60 a pop. It was the bargain of the century at the time.

I also paid $1 for the Definitive, Classic CBS Fox version as well as the Faces editions.

The only set on LD I don't have is the Dolby Digital/SE release

I believe the SRP was actually $70, not $60 (but when you're getting 'em for $1, who cares).

I was always surprised that LucasFilm/Fox never jumped on the DTS Laserdisc offering....they could of charged $90 for each.

Chris, I think you need to go a bit easier on Tom Petrov. Obviously English isn't his first language so he can't be expected to know much about it.

Brace yourself for another round of unnecessary "corrections" for the upcoming Blu-ray set.

Thank God Lucas rounded off the bottom left corner of the frame in that shot. That shit has been bothering me for years. [Razz]

I just want to know if Obi-Wan's dying lightsaber in his duel with Darth Vader will finally get fixed.

Oh, and the lightsabers' SHADOWS in the Luke/Vader duel at the end of Jedi.

Plus about a million other little things too.

I'm glad the Humdinger Glitch is finally getting some attention too.

A pointless addition to be sure. Just one more reason why I won't be buying the Blu-Ray.
