I was an usher at the Coralwood 6 in Cape Coral, Florida. I was doing our 'closing' procedures at the end of the night. My manager asked me to check on house #3, the film was still running, but he thought the people had left early. I think is was Halloween 4 or 5??? (Whichever came out in 1989). Anyways, I went into the theatre, and a couple were going at it (they were in there by themselves). Being 17, I didn't have the nerve to say anything to them. I went out to tell my manager what I had witnessed. Before I could even say anything to him the couple walked past me to exit. Once at a theatre I was watching a movie at and once at the Highland 10. The theatre I was visiting was the AMC Rivercenter 9 in San Antonio. There was acouple in the back row and as I, my friend and SAPD officer walked through the door we were distracted by a lady performing oral sex an a gut in the back corner. The real kicker in this incident was it was a Disney Cartoon that was playing in this auditorium. And as usual the cop failed to see what was happening in the back of the theatre. The one at my Theatre just before I started a show I noticed a young lady dancing and prancing around in front of her date then she hiked her dress up and proceeded to plant herself on top of her date. I radioed the doorman and had them go in and see if they were in fact Bumping the Uglies, and they were. I have to walk thru one corner of that auditorium in order to get into the booth where my next movie was starting. It was Monday night, and I had just done a casual scan of the house as I walked thru, initially seeing it empty and cursing to myself about leaving the lamp on for an empty house... As I turned to close the booth door I saw movement out of the corner of my eye - I closed the door all but a crack and looked out to ascertain if they were really doing what I think they were doing, saying some form of "Holy Shit" to myself. At this point the stairwell door that I had just come through closed with a nice ker-thunk and they left quickly - the guy fixing his pants on the way out.... Of course I stand corrected if the projectionist hurrying through looks first to see if anyone is in there and/or if the movie is already in credits and then makes the decision either to cushion the close of the door or allow it to slam on its own. It just doesn't seem likely when they're in a hurry but maybe they do. The only time I made any noise going in or out was if the film wasn't running at all, regardless of how few or many people were in the theater.  |  IP: Logged
