A group of friends and I went to see it yesterday, 6:45 show at the Universal. We arrived around 5:30, because 4 of us had tickets and 2 didn't. SOLD OUT!
At the last minute, I guess they decided to interlock because they removed the Sold Out sign, and the other two people in our group got tickets, but for the neighboring auditorium. We all sat together in the same one anyway.
Every seat was full in our auditorium except maybe 5 or so way up front by the corners of the screen. When leaving, I noticed they added more showtimes to the board: 6:45, 6:46, 9:20, 9:21, 11:55 and 11:56 --- all sold out, though.
A glance at Fandango also shows the local Regal interlocking. Something tells me this should have had a bigger print run.
