No, luckly he had his patch on to prevent that.

The Directors name was Joe Alves. He had to rely on his crew to give him honest opinions about the 3D effects when screening the film. Obviously they must have lied to him.

One From The Heart -- I liked that one. Got to see it in 70mm. Picture was 1:1.37 in the middle of the frame, but sound was great for its time.

Jaws 3d -- Andre De Toth, director of one of the better 3-D films HOUSE OF WAX (love that paddle-ball guy!) also had only one eye.

I've seen quite a lot of 3D movies - okay, some of you have probably seen more than me - but I thought JAWS 3D had very good 3D in general. It wasn't that the "off-the-screen" effects didn't work. From a purely technical standpoint I recall they all worked (except for the frog). The problem is that (in most cases) they weren't motivated by the story.

JAWS 3D is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Well someone mentioned Baseketball but how about Orgasmo. I've been waiting for that one to come out on DVD for some time.

Beside many other types of film, I love horror films and I remember one that almost "Spooked me out of my pants". It was "COUNT YORGA VAMPIRE". Others must have liked it too because there was a sequel, "THE RETURN OF COUNT YORGA". The grand daddy of all horror films in my humble opinion was "THE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" when I saw it on the bottom half of a drive in movie program before it became a cult favorite. That one really made me jump out of my pants.

There's no reason to feel guilty about liking NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. It's even been put on the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
