Dts tracks fine and dandy on top of a SRD reader. I wouldn't be holding hands with a beast bearing fangs that gigantic. I've also seen monkeys do really perverted things in zoos. That mandrill looks like he could bench press about 400 pounds. The monkey could probably rip your arm out of the socket and beat you with it. Which leads to the question, has any lobby personnel been chased down, mauled and raped by a mandrill? Hehe, "hey folks, the show's not in the theater! Loop size was something I wondered about from others standpoint. I have taught my guys to thread the projector using exactly the shown loop size. The Mandril scared the out of me! His name is Davey and HE was the one in charge, no doubt! He was cool tho. He ate two 130oz bags of popcorn and drank about 1/2 large cup of Coke, maybe Diet.... LOL.. He had a waist size of 32" the last time I ran into him. Also, as is inherent to his breed, his fangs were loosening and breaking out. Must have been the Coke... That damn thing sat and watched the movie, along with Arthur the Lion (pics to follow), some Siberian Tigers and Bubbles (The elephant). Sadly, Bubbles had to spend her day in the trailer as we felt she might break our marble flooring in our lobby area. Maybe I'll get the other pics posted tonight when I get home. It's a picture of one of my GK 12 before I started de-assembling,stripping painting off, repainting and putting things back toguether .. eeeeekk.. I've been working on this projector for quite a few months already and still don't have it done.. ok.. Actually pends on a number of things....like what platter system is in use, how far to the next guidance roller, evenness of ptojector speed, and several other minor things.......Fortunately, the projector shown is digital, so it is exact. But, from my experience, the DTS reader will track 100% reliably if mounted under the 701, or SDDS, to take advantage of the 701's, or other penthouses smoothing out action of the film.
