Rachel:
They gave a short concert ahead of a silent film presentation at the Arcada Theatre, St. Charles, IL (far western suburb of Chicago on the Fox River); same event I dissed in the Suck thread in FHF for having to stop the show to fix framing.

The leader, obscured by his tuba, wears a passenger train conductor's cap.

Took this picture about 3 hours ago in downtown Phoenix, AZ. Some kind of public concert stage. Very beautiful little park around it.

that's cool, if you look at the whole thing from far away, is that supposed to be some design?

I believe so, I don't know if these next pictures will help you on what the design actually looks like. But it looks amazing at night.

Ahhh. Now then...what was the question?

I guess the wife doesn't read F-T, eh? Congrats and all that. [Smile]

As for Flagstaff, what sort of lack of creativity causes one to name a town after a flagpole?

quote:
The names of the spring at the old location underwent several name changes, starting with Antelope, then Flagstaff, and then--with the creation of the new town and railroad--becoming Old Town Spring. In 1882, there were ten buildings at Old Town, but in 1883 business moved to the new railroad depot and by 1884 Old Town was almost deserted. When the post office was established at the new location, the name Flagstaff was the natural choice.

It's supposedly the "place" to go for skiing or any winter activity in AZ. When I went there... I was so used to the hot Phoenix weather I was freezing.

ok, now I've got something, that I don't believe is in the FAQ:

When I'm going through the "Random Pictures" posts, all pics from page 12 and forward are replaced by Joe Redifers angry face

How come ?
