It was a union house with one screen and changeover booth, located at the East end of a shopping plaza. Later the theatre was cut into two smaller auditoriums with the same booth and the projectors had a common platter system. Shortly thereafter they used manager/operators. Now it's a Hancock Fabric store. I was spelunking around a long closed theatre. The theatre had been a changover from 1915 until 1978. Union records show that the theatre obtained permission to install a platter at that time. It's been closed since 1981. I did come across a peerless arclamp housing sitting on the floor of the balcony, but it surely must have been removed in 1978.  |  IP: Logged
