Mike, way to go! I'm betting that those last few pounds are the hardest to loose.
So last night I went to Teatro Zinzanni. It's a show that plays in a 90-year-old tent down on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. It is a combination of Dinner, Cabaret, and Cirque Du Soleil.
I went in to dinner with a plan, I would eat half of everything.
Yea, that didn't work. I ate everything placed in front of me. From the Smoked Salmon Mousse with Toast Points, Olives and Almonds, To the Roast Tomato Soup with Basil Crostinini, to the Bay Shrimp Salad, to the Medallions of Lamb with Asparagus, Rice and some little Leek Custard amusement, to the Lemon Brulee Tart with strawberries, 2 Glasses of wine and 2 Coffees, I ate it all!
Later that night I sat down and tried to figure out what it cost me in Weight Watcher points. I figured that it was a solid 70! I am allowed 30 points a day and 35 Flex Points a week. I usually don't eat the Flex Points so I had 30 left. So last night I went 55 points over my daily total and in using the 30 was 25 points over.
My stomach was stuffed and tight. It took 12-hours, 8-hours of sleep, a 2-mile jog and a bit of yoga to begin to feel normal again.
Oh well, I'm back on track today. So I'll stick to it till my birthday dinner next week when I think I will tie one on again.

The last few are impossible (well not really but you know...)! I was stuck at or around 235 for like 6 weeks then finally got down to what I am now. Don't worry about that meal you had. You should actually allow yourself a cheat meal once a week or so, and if you go overboard, just put in a little more exercise to burn off the excess calories. Heck, Thursday morning and afternoon I did well, but come Thursday evening, I had a bananna around 5pm, then had my dinner which consisted of a large chili from Wendys, 6 piece nugget (wendy's) AND one of those slightly larger than personal sized frozen pizzas by Totino's. Yet, I still lost weight over the weekend. Thankfully I dont have many meals like that very often.
