Author Topic: Upload your random pictures (part 2) Stephen Furley Film God Posts: 3059 From: Coulsdon, Croydon, England Registered: May 2002 posted 04-07-2005 04:01 PM                     John, I tend to use: Fuji for colour slide film, Kodak for colour negative annd various technical materials. Ilford for black and white negative and Agfa Scala, So that should keep everyone happy. I don't often get the time to do any photography now. One day I'll have to post a few of my decent shots that I've taken in the past. I used to do a lot of colour printing, back in the days of Ektacolor 37 and 74 RC papers, all processed in open dishes. I used to soak my hands in the stuff for hours on end, with no ill effects. Suddenly I developed a serious allergy to it, and I have to be careful even processing film now. I've recently done a bit of black and white printing again, but for colour prints I scan the negative or slide, and have a print made digitally at a local shop. I think some of the overhead cabling is incredible, I saw one pole with over a hundred cables attached to it.  |  IP: Logged James R. Also, that wiring isn't too typical. Stephen, if you think that pole wiring is bad, you need to visit Japan and/or Taiwan. Now there's a couple of "modern" countries that are in tune to "do as I say, not do as I do". I just love how Japan has both 50Hz and 60Hz power at various voltages depending on where the site is located. Some installations I've done have 5 different voltage/freq requirements depending on which contractor.
