Just so you all know, I'm out of hospital, but definitely NOT resting comfortably. I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach, then kicked again to be sure they got me the first time!! I had Morphine in hospital, which I loved. When I checked out, I was prescribed Oxycodone, but I cant handle it. It makes me have migraine headaches, and sweat, with cold chills, and So, I got home about 5PM EDT today, after a couple of days at my mom's house. She's an old operating room nurse, so she comes in handy-- I never got to stay home from school with her around! Picture 'Nurse Stimpy' about NOW! I appreciate all of you. We are all friends here at Film-Tech. I'll be calling you, Phil as soon as my voice comes back--They had a tube down my windpipe during the surgery, and now I croak when I talk, and it is not comfortable either. Joe thinks this is a good thing! Ditto for my mom! The girls at hospital, St. Josephs in Asheville, were GREAT! I offered free passes for when I come back to the theatre! They declined... Guess they've heard about my lurking in the booth issues! That said, I was actually nice to them, which is a mighty shock to my mom, being that she knows the real me. Yeah it'll suck for a while especially with the meds you describe, but you can do it! I got wisdom teeth pulled and later was grabbing at my stitches telling my mom that they put rocks in my teeth although I remembered it as a dream; plus when we road the bus back home I viewed myself outside my body for at least a few minutes. Though really, you should go tell your doc about this.
