The doc was quite pleased with his work, as the bones are virtually perfectly aligned and very close to fully healed. I have a meeting with a physical therapist on Monday. I'm pretty stoked(I hate that word, but it seemed to fit). I no longer have to wear the brace, and can with help, lift my arm over my head. Now, I just gotta fix the bike... I have full range of motion back in my shoulder and nothing hurts The bike has also seen several track days and here's a short list of what I've done to it to get it back to where it was. -new main frame -new fiberglass bodywork -new windshield -new front wheel and rotors -new steering head bearing (all Ballz Racing) -new chain and sprocket set while I was at it -stainless steel brake lines -bent shift lever back into position (Billet aluminum is tough stuff!) -billet case guards -frame sliders it still needs paint and a new tank, but after 4500 I'm gonna call it good for the year. First day back on the bike was at road america in WI. I was nervous as hell, but the bike ran great and I was soon late braking from 150 MPH into the turns. Nearly highsided coming out of the kink after the carousel, so I slowed the pace and dropped a group and all was fine. The can-o-tuna is done for the year unless it gets a new chain and sprocket set. BTW I picked up something cheap for the streets after I fixed the track bike. I sorta agree with you, Josh. Not sure why, but there is something, besides the humidity and temperatures, that I don't like about Texas. I just don't feel "grounded" there.
