On the plus side, the two main things I've got going for me are that I'm violently allergic to saturated dairy fat (meaning that I can't eat anything with butter or cheese in it) and I don't smoke. I really don't eat much junk food at all - probably one stop at a McVomits or a Buggery King on the motorway or at an airport every couple of months, if that - and do eat lots of fruit and veg. The dairy allergy sees to it that I have a reasonably low fat diet.

On the minus side, I don't get much exercise at all these days. When I was a projectionist, heaving films up and down the stairs and running around the building took care of exercise. But now my job basically consists of driving to work, sitting at a desk for 10 hours and then driving home again, with the result that I'm conscious of my weight creeping up and my stamina dropping off. Not sure what to do about it: will have to try visiting a gym one of these days, I guess!

Damn, Brad! That has to be one of the most gross pictures I've seen in recent memory. It looks like Seth Green on steroids and in drag!

Of course you could end up looking like this

 -

Rachel McLish, MS Olympia #1. She was before the manly muscled women started competing. The nasty girls compete in the "women's Bodybuilding" class, while women like her now compete in "women's figure" class.

She's still a tad gross-looking, mainly due to the fake boobs!

Yeah, cuz you'd turn her down, OK whatever you say.....

Pretty much all female bodybuilders have fake boobs. They burn their real ones off.

The fugly manly one, looks like Chuck Norris, minus "the beard", and with something akin to breasts? If fact, if the started growing a beard, it wouldn't surprise me.

Before mentioned but very important.

Stay hydrated and don't eat right before you go to bed.
You will just store the fat. Also this means don't eat and take a nap... walk it off.

I love food but it hates me. I also have high blood pressure so I can tell you WATCH OUT!! for packaged food. It contains allot of sodium a LOT!

anybody see those fiber pills for weight loss/management?
do they work???

Truth be told, I would not be surprised if either of those female bodybuilders had "love buttons" bigger than an average fellow's pecker! Watch out for that testosterone!
[Eek!]

As far as superficial details go, I prefer a woman to have at least some flesh on her body rather than a bunch of hard sinew. Some cellulite on the legs and thighs just comes as part of the package of a woman having the figure of a woman.

Sounds like someone needs some new spank bank material.

It is true that you do not want simple or complex carbs before you go to sleep. However, it is not a bad idea to get some slow digesting casein protein right before going to sleep. I drink a big glass of milk right before bed, but you can also eat lowfat cottage cheese. The casein takes about 3-4 hours to break down so it provides some nutrients throughout most of your sleep. The protein is much less likely to be stored as fat than carbs, plus if you work out, much of your muscle recovery occurs while you are sleeping so you need that protein. I've also heard that a capsule of fish or flax oil will help slow down the digestion of the casein, but I do not know if that has any scientific merrit to it.

Awesome, I fell asleep while attempting to read that.

Chris, you're one to say about spank material. Seriously.
