Author Topic: Upload your random pictures (part 3) Jim Cassedy Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1661 From: San Francisco, CA Registered: Dec 2006 posted 10-10-2008 01:21 AM                     The Blue Angels were practicing over San Francsiso today in preparation for their big annual air show as part of "Fleet Week" this weekend. I was pretty busy at work but I managed to grab these shots, taken from the roof of "my" theater. Here They Are Passing Near The Golden Gate Bridge A Graceful Arc Formation Over San Francisco Bay Flying In Close Formation This One Did A Roll Directly Over The Theater Roof Where I Was Standing. My ears are still ringing! They'll be rehearsing again tomorrow, and then performing all weekend BONUS PICTURE- This is "Albert The Cat" arching his back and hiding under my porch while the Blue Angels performed overhead a couple of years ago. Coincidently, ATC died exactly a year ago today, after putting up with me for almost 12 years. I took this telephoto shot from the roof of San Franciso's historic Marina Theater Rooftops were a popular place to be during the air show this weekend. Some apartment buildings along the waterfront had full-blown "B&B" parties (beer & barbeque) going on up there! Back in August I posted this photo of how 3 of them can fit into 1.5 normal parking spaces. (This picture was not staged.) Here's another example of creative parking by a "smart" driver! The car protrudes into traffic less than most SUV's or delivery vans. If this is legal, I'm signing up to buy one of these today!
