I guess if you're ever in doubt, a little eletrical tape over the IR sensor (if you can find it) will suffice. I did the same thing before I got my tethered remote, setting it on a 2 second delay to reduce vibration. I really love my remote. With it I can put the camera on bulb and leave the shutter open for 15 years... or until the battery runs out.  |  IP: Logged Bobby Henderson "Ask me about Trajan."
