Our poor print of "Cop Out" after having an argument with a leaking ceiling after a torrential downpour. The cinema above this booth had a small 80cm x 20 cm section of ceiling collapse causing a waterfall in the auditorium.

It's as solid as a rock, as you can see.

Here's the hole. Don't be fooled by the size, it let plenty of water in. At least we didn't have [dlp] installed in the lower booth yet.

Michael, A good soaking (Literally) of Film-Guard would save that print. [Big Grin]

When I arrived at the theater real early this morning to
do some projector maintenence, I thought we already had
people lining up for the first matinee. But no, these folks
were all just waiting for the APPLE store a few doors down
to open so they could be the first to own the new I-Pad,
which went on sale today. There is some irony in that all
these people are waiting in line just so they can go online.

Mabye I should call 'the boss' and have him open the
concession stand & make some money off this crowd!

Uhh, Jim... it looks like they converted your theater to a Walgreens while you were out.

The Walgreens is in the same building as the theater.

It was a large, old (1928) movice palace until they gutted
the interior several years ago & left the ouside walls standing.

Now, Walgreens occupies the ground floor, and the theaters
are on the 2nd level.

The theater entrance is on the far right in the photo.
