Even true airspeed, let alone indicated. Little Old Lady: "Miss, how does the pilot know where to steer the plane? Its very dark outside" Hostess: "Well, do you see the red light on the left wing tip outside?" Little Old lady: "Yes, I can see it". Hostess: "...and can you see the green light on that wing tip on the right?" Little Old Lady: "I can see that one too, yes." Hostess: "Well, as long as the pilot keeps the plane between those two lights, we're on the right track."
