If it was Wednesday it was San Louis Obispo CA. and a thirteen hour installation/EQ marathon. (Hi Clint and thanks for the breakout boards and help!!)

Now, if someone can tell me why my UC Irvine Screening room pics I sent in on the 8th of August haven't been put in the picture warehouse yet, and yet the people who screwed over Scott Norwood had pics posted....the mysteries of life.

Well Manny, I have had two bouts with blood clots (first time was nearly fatal, doc said 98% of folks who had what I had happen die instantly) and now I am developing problems with my heart. So, so far I am lucky but wondering when it's gonna run out...

In fact my profile pic here was taken when I was clotting for the second time which is why I look so pale.

I take it you're on some kind of blood thinning medication Tony?

Yes, may your "lucky streak" continue!

As for me, I'm off to Nampa and Boise, ID tomorrow. More Sony's and Barco's await.

Yes indeed Paul, I'm on Coumadin (Warfarin, also known as the active ingredient in rat poison!) as well as 162mg of aspirin for my heart. I will be on the Coumadin for the rest of my life.

Have fun in Boise...I was in Sandpointe many years ago (okay about 8) to do some work at the Panida theatre.

What is truly amazing is that the first incarnation of this contest took over six months to complete! Somehow, it didn't seem like that much time had passed.
And here we are almost another year later, and we still have 456 posts to go...then Brad will lock this one and start Part 3. [Big Grin] [evil]

I used to live in Hawthorne, on Doty just south of El Segundo Blvd. Back in the mid-80's when being in the SoCal aerospace industry was fun and profitable.

Why men are happier than women.

Your last name stays put.
The garage is all yours.
Wedding plans take care of themselves.
Chocolate is just another snack.
You can be President.
You can be a Priest
You can never be pregnant.
You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park.
You can wear NO shirt to a water park.
The world is your urinal.
You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky.
You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt.
Same work, more pay.
Wrinkles add character.
Wedding dress $6000. Tux rental-$100.
People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them.
The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected.
New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet.
One mood all the time.
Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.
A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.
You can open all your own jars.
You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness.
If someone forgets to invite you, he can still be your friend.
Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack.
Three pairs of shoes are more than enough.
You never have strap problems in public.
You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes.
The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades.
You only have to shave your face and neck.
You can play with toys all your life.
Your belly usually hides your big hips.
One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons.
You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look.
You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife.
You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.
You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.
And lastly, you don't have to LOVE someone to have really great sex, in fact, you don't even have to know their name.
